We are offering an exciting opportunity for 16 to 18 year olds who want a career in Manufacturing.

We are an international business and manufacturing support services provider, running critical parts of our clients’ operations on a contract outsourced basis. We offer expertise in the Automotive, Food, Logistics, Print and Transport sectors, helping our clients to improve performance and service levels, reduce costs, and maximise flexibility. We have an £100 million turnover and 3,000 members of the Aktrion team worldwide.

As a rapidly growing business, we are continually looking to recruit and develop new talent at all levels. The basis of our business quite simply starts and ends with ensuring we hire the very best people. We strive to make every experience of contact with Aktrion outstanding. This means putting both you and our customers at the forefront of everything we do.

You will gain valuable experience and knowledge of procedures used in the food, print, automotive and manufacturing sectors.
You will receive, on completion, a Certificate in Preparation for Working in the Manufacturing and Engineering Industry and also the industry recognised NCFE Lean Manufacturing Certificate. You will also receive a first aid and health and safety certificate.
The course will last 12 weeks and include 3 weeks work experience with local businesses. You will receive a bursary of £50 per week during the boot camp to help towards travel costs.
Learners who complete the course will be guaranteed a 12month apprenticeship with Aktrion working within a local business where you can expect a wage of around £160 per week then leading to a fulltime role, including further training. This will be the start of your career with Aktrion and there will the opportunity to prove yourself, progress and move into other sectors and locations within the company

Required education:

5 GCSE’s grades A to C preferred alongside a strong work ethic and a hard-working and determined attitude. However if you do not have the required GCSE grades but you do have the required work ethic and attitude please get in touch, if you can prove to us you have the character and personality to succeed this can be overlooked.

Golden Service Awards

Aktrion attended the Biennial Golden Service Awards at the Hilton, Park Lane to represent our News printers Broxbourne site. These awards are widely regarded as “The Oscars of the Cleaning and Facilities Industry” and were hosted by comedian, Jon Culshaw.

IOSH Training for Team Aktrion Automotive!
