Food & Drink Federation Awards

Aktrion Food & Drink are proud to announce that they will be sponsoring the Education Initiative Award at the Federation’s Awards Dinner in London on 14th November. When Aktrion takes on running a part of a client’s operation, along with process re-engineering and restructuring, staff training and development is a key part of the improvements Aktrion bring. Therefore it is highly appropriate that Aktrion are sponsoring such an award.

Leading by example, in November, Aktrion will be enrolling a further 60 of it’s own staff on a one year Apprenticeship Programme in manufacturing operational improvement, with a planned further 60 the following year.

Aktrion Food & Drink wins hygiene contract

In November 2012, Aktrion Food & Drink signed a contract with a major fish ready meals producer to takeover and run all their hygiene cleaning operations. This involved the TUPE transfer of some 30 staff, who have since been supported by additional recruitments by Aktrion and the installation of an Aktrion management team. In addition to providing significant cost savings for the client, Aktrion have been able to steadily develop new standards and remove the worries of hygiene cleaning away from the production management.
Aktrion are continuing to improve processes, procedures and training to ensure the embedding of high standards and efficiency and are also investing in additional equipment and systems.
